Digital Presence
Dura-Line used to rely on multiple CMS systems and legacy tools clogged together, producing a less than optimal digital experience for their technically minded audience made of distributors, contractors and engineers. Website visitors required different pieces of information along their journey. Dura-Line needed to redesign their website to meet these needs, and provide a vast amount of relevant information along the way.
The cool things we did in terms of the process with delaware is we did a lot of cross-functional workshops. We had Key players from delaware that allowed us to visualise the tools as we were developing them.
delaware was a Key partner for us in making all of this happen. Everything from the first time we met and really listening and understanding our needs. I think that was the biggest key and the biggest difference that I’ve experienced working with delaware over other vendors. Our customers love these. I got an email the other day saying: three of our customers mentioned how amazing our digital tools were in this week alone.
Setting the scene for future growth
The next phase of the implementation involves several innovative projects to support sales and marketing targets such as a custom application enabling customers to generate on-demand PDF files. The files contain all the technical product information for the customer’s product selection. A specific back-end interface lets marketing manage the templates, while sales reps enjoy a user-friendly user-interface to generate and distribute specific installation instructions that solutions architects put together for relevant products. A dedicated customer portal is also part of the plans.
